Neotha N. Williams Guiding Minds Through Science
Neotha N. Williams is a devoted teacher who loves science and guiding others. She currently works in a Louisiana School System, where she teaches & mentors colleagues. She has a master’s degree in criminal justice and a bachelor's degree in Biology from Southern University in Baton Rouge.
Neotha is a qualified and experienced science teacher, mentor teacher, and curriculum writer. She has certifications in Biology, 6-12 General Science, and LDOE Mentor Teacher (Content & Classroom Management). She also has a background in CTE (Oil and Gas Production & T-2 Safety Systems) and was the Science and Engineering Fair coordinator at an earlier school system she was employed. Before becoming a teacher, Neotha was an Environmental/QC Lab Analyst. She developed strong analytical skills, accuracy, and her passion for science in this role that were integrated into her teaching practice.

Neotha also enjoys running her own educational consulting firm, MosesStemInc, which focuses on culturally relevant science, technology integration, and NGSS/LSSS Science standards in the classroom. As the administrator and founder of NGSS Physical Science professional learning network (2800 members) she connects educators, fosters collaboration, and elevates science education.
Neotha’s passion lies in empowering students to discover their potential. She fosters a love for culturally relevant science, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. In addition, she believes that mentoring extends beyond the classroom and leaves a lasting impact on aspiring educators.
